Leading provider of wireless network solutions has IMMEDIATE NEED for and IP/ATM Transport Engineer for a 6 month contract opportunity, in the metro Seattle, WA area.
Responsibilities:
-> Program and design wireless networks
-> Test equipment from various vendors to ensure communication on the network
Requirements:
-> BS or AS degree
-> 2 or more years of experience in GSM, UMTS, and Transport Networks
-> Expert understanding of IP/ MPLS/ATM networks and of LAN/WAN design and configuration
-> Knowledge of Transport requirements at Layers 1, 2 and 3 (DS0- DS3, SONET, Ethernet, ATM)
-> Experience in integration and testing of equipment from different vendors
-> Must be proficient in Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Word
-> Cisco/Juniper Certification preferred
