A large client in New Orleans needs a skilled Assistant Analyst to help prepare records for a large report that is due at the end of the year. Local New Orleans residents only, no relocation or per diem will be paid.
Responsibilities:
-> Assist the reporting staff with preparation of the reports such as maintaining documents, lists of witnesses, preparing for conference calls, assisting with maintaining and running status reports and other reports as required
-> Assist with typing in Word and formatting Excel worksheets
-> Become knowledgeable of the information database and assist with performing searches and ad hoc reports for customers
-> Assist with maintaining documents such as saving Regulatory documents to the database, logging documents received and distributing them for saving to the database
-> Assist with scanning documents, copying CD/DVDs, production and distribution of finalized documents via delivery services
-> General office duties such as working copiers, binding and packing items for shipment. assist with Regulatory jurisdictional filings, witness book compilation and special projects as needed
Requirements:
-> Good PC Skills, including knowledge of Word, Excel, and Access
-> Type accurately at least 60 words per minute
-> Dependable ? can depend on them to come to work, to stay the entire day, to work on their own with minimal supervision once trained
-> Ability to work extensive overtime and often with little notice
-> May be required to work shift work until 9:00 or 10:00 p.m. with some weekend shift work at overtime rate toward the end of the project
-> Ability to perform scanning, burning CDs, run copy machines
