Contract assignment with a large company for an Equipment Reliability AOV (Air Operated Valves) Engineer to work in the System Reliability organization of a Nuclear Power Generation organization. Excellent opportunity to work for a premier company located in the Southeastern U. S.
Responsibilities:
-> Responsible for design change processes and design change documentation updates
-> Responsible for troubleshooting skills; diagnostic testing; and/or preventative maintenance
-> Responsible for developing procedures and implementing reliability programs is desired
-> Responsibilities include understanding system health reporting, preventive maintenance programs, work management processes, self-assessment process, etc.)
Requirements:
-> Requires a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related BS degree
-> Requires experience with air operated valve and actuator design
-> Requires valve and actuator sizing using KVAP or similar software
-> Requires experience with implementation of AOV programs in the nuclear industry
-> Requires a minimum 5 years in commercial nuclear power
-> System engineering, maintenance, or operations experience desired
-> Working knowledge of INPO AP-913 and equipment reliability processes
-> Requires project management skills (scheduling tasks, working with other departments, able to present and communicate)
-> Individual must be able to be badged at a commercial nuclear plant
