Excellent opportunity for a Transmission Line Group Leader to become an integral part of an employee-owned and managed Engineering firm in Southern Michigan. Our client has an immediate need and your role will be to supervise a team of engineers, designers and AutoCad operators to complete a project. Must have leadership and business development capabilities.
Responsibilities:
-> Responsible for planning route selection, foundation and structure design, material specification and construction bid document for electrical transmission lines
-> Manage a team of 5 to 7 Engineers, Designers and CADD Operators to complete project
-> Have the ability to work well with clients and staff
-> Be able to travel to Project sites
Requirements:
-> Must have a PE (if currently applying please let us know where you are in the process)
-> Minimum 10 years (15 years preferred) in Electrical Engineering on high-voltage transmission lines
-> Strong working knowledge of PLS-CADD (Power Line Systems - Computer Aided Design & Drafting)
-> Strong leadership and business development capabilities
