Client located in Columbus, IN is actively looking for an experienced Technical Writer for a 6+month contract assignment to assist with writing technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. No per diem!
Responsibilities:
-> Create complex technical documents independently and convert engineering input into a consistent voice
-> Lead and facilitate the development of new and revised Engineering Standard Work (ESW)
-> Follow established technical documentation creation processes and write training, technical practices and process flow documents
-> Research and collect technical information while making recommendations to improve process
Requirements:
-> Associates degree
-> 2 years of previous technical writing experience
-> Experience writing training manuals, process flow documents and user guides
-> Must be organized, detailed oriented and task driven
-> Microsoft office experience
