An international owner/operator of power plants and other entities within the power and energy industry has an immediate need for a Director of Operations.
Responsibilities:
-> Manage technical due diligence process for acquisitions
-> Manage Operations and EHS audit programs
-> Develop new operations and EHS guidelines
-> Monitor and follow up on audit issues
-> Assist operating companies with new guideline implementation
Requirements:
-> Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering undergraduate degree
-> Minimum 15 years operational experience in the energy industry, with specific power generation plant operations experience
-> Must possess a proven track record in operational excellence and in the managing of occupational safety
-> Strong problem solving skills to effectively address the requirements of senior management
-> Extensive travel on a global basis
-> Multilingual preferred, especially Spanish or Portuguese
