Client located in Orlando, FL working in the power generation industry is actively looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to assist with installation projects.
Responsibilities:
-> Will do controls system design, specification, programming, simulation and testing, and start-up assistance
-> Will be the project technical lead and may be responsible for some project management activities
-> Panel design and layout, bill of materials, and wiring schematics
Requirements:
-> BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering
-> 5 years of experience as a Controls Engineer in Power Generation, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical or related process industry
-> Proven experience in PLC logic and programming Allen Bradley PLC's using both 500 and 5000 programming tools
-> Experience with HMI programming using Allen Bradley RS View
-> Experience reading and red-lining P&ID drawings
-> Experience with other operator interface software packages such as Wonderware, Intellution, GE Cimplicity, etc. will be considered a plus
-> Experience with other PLCs will be considered a plus: Modicon, GE Fanuc, Siemens
