A leading company in the biotechnology industry is searching for a QA Lab Technician for its Northern California facility. This is a temporary assignment. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
-> Perform routine procedures and testing in support of the environmental and clean utility microbiological monitoring programs
-> Handle routine laboratory procedures, such as sample testing, compendial, and non-compendial test methods and environmental monitoring and sampling
-> Document, compute, compile, interpret, review, and enter data
-> Provide and communicate result and maintain/operate specialized equipment
-> Initiate and/or implement changes in controlled documents
-> Learn and comply with safety guidelines, GLP, and cGMPs/CFRs to include the maintenance of training records, laboratory notebooks, written procedures, building monitoring systems, and laboratory books
Requirements:
-> Bachelor of Science degree is preferred
-> A minimum of 3 years experience performing routine procedures and testing in support of the environmental and clean utility microbiological monitoring programs
-> Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) laboratory experience within the pharmaceutical industry
-> Experience in pharmaceutical microbiology
-> Ability to lift 20-30 lbs
-> Gowining experience is a plus
