Large company with locations in the New Jersey area has and IMMEDIATE NEED for Operations Regional Director, for liquid petroleum and chemical operations involving a large number of customers and a high number of different petrochemicals. Must have a BS Engineering with commensurate experience preferred. Relocation assistance will be considered.
Responsibilities:
-> Responsible for meeting established goals and objectives toward Safety, Quality and Environmental Compliance as well, maintaining the operations budget for all terminals in the region.
-> Responsible for mentoring, development, aquisition of bench strength, evaluation and where necessary, discipline, develop an effective Regional Operations team and directly coordinate operations in compliance with company policies and procedures.
-> Develop and operate within operational budget for the fiscal year and serve as a key participant in the operational and financial (budget / forecast) reporting process related to regional activities.
-> Responsible as operations principle for the region, providing visible and decisive direction toward the achievement of goals and objectives, operations efficiency, continuous improvement and accountability at the facilities.
-> Develop and report operational key performance indicators to customers to enhance performance expectations and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
-> Requires a 4 year degree in Business, Engineering or applicable field. Significant, directly applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education. An advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
-> A minimum of 5 years of experience managing liquid terminals/pipelines or terminal operations handling bulk materials is required.
-> History of demonstrated team leadership capability with the ability to take and give direction and work cooperatively with others
-> Requires the ability to be a Change Agent and leader in the in the development of a Culture modeled around Safety, Quality and Environmental Compliance
-> Experience with development and monitoring of Operations goals and objectives.
