Job Location: Trenton, NJ

An American global diversified industrial company is currently seeking a Production Supervisor responsible for implementing and driving change in a high volume, fast-paced, lean manufacturing environment in Trenton, NJ. This is a 6 month CONTRACT position, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates only, no per diem available.
Responsibilities:
-> Responsible for overall performance of assigned work group, including safety, quality, cost and output schedule performance.
-> Actively support plant programs and goals (units per manhour, recordable incidents, overtime budgets, customer availability, etc.)
Requirements:
-> BS Degree in Industrial Engineering or Business degree (internship / Co-Op experience will be considered)
-> 2+ years of Manufacturing experience
-> In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (Toyota Production Systems) preferred.
-> Supervisory experience preferred.
