A leader in OEM replacement automotive parts is looking for a 2nd shift Quality Supervisor. Ideal candidates will have an industrial manufacturing background, preferably in automotive. Position is located in near Knoxville, TN.
Responsibilities:
-> Responsible for ensuring Product Quality meets customer and Company''s requirements. Proactively engourage continuous imporovement of Plant Quality Systems through implementation of and feedback into Global Standards
-> Employee selection, training, assignment of tasks, and motivation
-> Leads Quality Improvement initiatives
-> To step into a manufacturing environment and provide guidance through hands-on work, and write operational procedures for the plant
-> Understand preventative maintenance procedures and contribute to redrafting them
Requirements:
-> Minimum of an Associates degree is required
-> Automotive experience is desired
-> 5+ years Quality Supervisory experience
-> Understanding Lean Process Development is a plus
-> TS16949 preferred
