A metals manufacturer in the Los Angeles Area is seeking a maintenance supervisor to join their team. This person will be responsible for managing hourly employees, on a rotating shift basis, to ensure efficient operation and minimize the downtime of production equipment.
Responsibilities:
-> Manage and direct a team of maintenance technicians on a multiple shift basis
-> Ensure that all necessary maintenance is performed on equipment and facilities in a timely manner
-> Engage in preventative and predictive maintenance activities as well as oversee general day-to-day troubleshooting
-> Manage employee schedules and ensure that all shifts are covered appropriately
-> Be prepared in on-call situations and available to come in during off hours to oversee any emergency maintenance issues
Requirements:
-> 2 or 4 year technical degree is preferred, but not required
-> Must have at 3 to 5 years of experience maintaining heavy industrial equipment
-> Previous supervisory experience is a must
-> Strong knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance practices and techniques
-> Demonstrated knowledge of CMMS systems
-> Previous experience maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic equipment is a must have
