Long term contract openings for candidates qualified to operate as an Operations Shift Supervisor operating a pulverizer/coal fired power generation plant with associated air quality control systems. Mobilization & Demobilization are available for eligible candidates. Based on duration of contract pay rate will be all inclusive.
Responsibilities:
-> Working rotating shifts direct daily operations/maintenance activities and personnel to achieve high productivity and quality work
-> Ensure safe, reliable, environmentally compliant and efficient electrical and/or steam generation
-> Develops project plans, provide direction and coordinate project activities associated with plant operations and maintenance
-> Monitor and evaluates plant equipment and systems to ensure reliable plant operations
-> Perform additional responsibilities as typically associated with a position of this nature or as requested or assigned
Requirements:
-> Bachelor''s degree in a related field or six years of related,progressive work experience for those who do not possess a bachelor''s degree
-> Operations Shift Supervisor experience, including one year in a senior technical/leadership role
-> Shift Supervisor experience ideally operating a pulverizer / coal fired / induced draft boiler type plant
-> Knowledgeable in turbine / generator operation
-> Coordinate Operations/Maintenance/Results personnel in order to operate/maintain/troubleshoot the unit
