Job Location: WINDSOR, CT

Long term client has an immediate need for an Engineering Program Manager located just outside of Hartford, CT. The right candidate will design, develop and execute Engineering Programs. Interface with customer, build
proposals, perform design reviews, monitor costs, update schedules, as well as deliver product. Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Discipline (Mechanical or Aerospace preferred) along with 5 years of related experience is required. A super opportunity with a great company in a very convenient location.
Responsibilities:
-> Develop conceptual designs and work plans to respond to technical inquiries and requests for proposal
-> Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for projects
-> Complete the analysis and design of Aerodynamic System components
-> Direct the completion of mechanical drawings of components and have drawing approval authority
-> Develop test plans and procedures and be responsible for directing the safe completion of test activity
-> Process Purchase Orders for the procurement of project related hardware and coordinate related hardware and coordinate material requirement with the Prototype Shop Supervisor and Purchasing Management
-> Prepare reports and presentations to document project activity, analytical results, design details, test data, corrective actions, and cost status
-> Prepare product specifications and process procedures
-> Initiate the development of new products and services and prepare patent applications for proprietary systems or techniques
Requirements:
-> Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Discipline (Mechanical or Aerospace preferred).
-> A minimum of five years engineering experience
-> Management and Team leadership experience
