Our client is an extremely prominent Fortune 500 tier one automotive stamping supplier is actively pursuing a Senior Laser Specialist for their flagship facility located in the Greater Detroit MI area. The Manufacturing Manager has coined this position as a "critical fill" for the organization and is looking to move as quickly as possible.
Responsibilities:
-> Maintenance and programming of multiple lasers such as Trumpf?s 3D, 7040, and 1005
-> Education, training, and supervision of subordinates on programming, maintenance, and operation of lasers.
-> Programming consists of reading blue print layouts for implementing accurate measurements into burn table software to ensure quality products.
-> Evaluate causes of scrap and work toward the elimination of such defects.
Requirements:
-> Minimum 2 years? experience with laser programming.
-> Tier 1 automotive background highly preferred.
