IT System Administrator - Jewett TX - Premier steel manufacture seeks to hire an IT System Administrator for their large manufacturing plant in TX. Generous relocation benefits available for qualified candidates
Responsibilities:
-> The role of the IT System Administrator includes but is not limited to the implementation and support of Windows based servers and clients.
-> Support of Microsoft Office applications, monitoring and maintenance of hardware and software to meet all reliability, legal, and security requirements
-> Support of existing systems as well as new installations (i.e. VOIP, Virtualization, SAN?s, etc.)
-> Helping to develop plans for future revisions and expansions of existing technologies,
-> Work with end users to determine business needs and configure systems accordingly, and help desk team support.
Requirements:
-> 2-4 year degree in a computer technology field or equivalent IT work experience.
-> Ability to travel overnight as required.
-> Experience with Microsoft Enterprise networks, VMware, backup/disaster recovery concepts and solutions, SAN?s,
-> Cisco, VOIP.Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
-> A+ Certification
-> Microsoft Certified systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or other Microsoft related Certifications
-> Ability to meet departmental and end-user needs with a sense of urgency
-> Willingness to learn new technologies and train/guide others
