A leader of OEM replacement parts near Knoxville, TN is looking for Controls Technician. Ideal candidates will have experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and robotics. Background in Automotive Industry a plus. Candidate needs to have 2 -5 years experience with PLCs. Will consider associate degreed candiates with lighter background.
Responsibilities:
-> Redesign and modify PLC programs and circuits.
-> Troubleshoot electronics for plant machinery beyond the ability of the maintenance department.
-> Set PM procedures for robotic electronics.
Requirements:
-> Ability to program and troubletshoot PLCs
-> 2 years experience with production automation equipment including some of the following: robotics, CNC, Diecast, abrasion ovens, other automated assembly processes
