Job Location: CEDAR RAPIDS, IA

Immediate Opportunity for a CAD Technician to work with an industry leader at an Agricultural Manufacturing facility located in Cedar Rapids, IA.
Responsibilities:
-> Create 3D model details, weldments and assemblies to verify and document design.
-> Create 2D detail, weldment and assembly drawings used by manufacturing and procurement.
-> Create part and assembly illustrations for manuals using 3D models.
-> Ensure all needed information such as dimensions, tolerances, BOM?s, materials, etc. are accurate and meet specific drafting standards.
-> Compose and verify Bills of Material.
-> Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications.
Requirements:
-> Associates Degree in Machine Design, Drafting Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
-> Minimum 2 years experience creating 3D detail, weldment and assembly models using software such as Inventor, SolidWorks, ProE, Catia, etc.
-> Minimum of 2 years experience creating 2D detail, weldment and assembly drawings.
-> Minimum of 2 years experience preparing and maintaining bills of material.
