Job Location: MAPLE GROVE, MN

Supply Chain Associate is needed by a major Utility to support the material project planning and purchasing departments through purchase order date management, logistics management, order expediting, open order reporting, data entry and loss and damage shipment tracking. Utility construction materials knowledge is a plus. This is a long term Contract position in the Minneapolis area.
Responsibilities:
-> Gathers, analyzes, translates and delivers information in clear, concise and meaningful formats based on specific project and/or program requirements and according to established project management standards.
-> Provides the project manager support and assistance in scheduling, documentation, communication and cost management.
-> Updates the project plan and assists in information collection and validations.
-> Provides input to project research information and facilitates collaborative documents and data stores.
-> Coordinates the activities of a project sub team and project activities
Requirements:
-> Understanding of Purchasing, Warehousing & Logistics and Accounts Payable. Transmission and Substation applications knowledge is a plus.
-> Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
-> Demonstrated customer service skills
