Job Location: QUINCY, MA

Immediate contract opportunity just south of Bosotn, MA for an Incoming Inspector. The Incoming Inspector is responsible for the inspection activities on medical products, in such categories as sterility inspection, incoming inspection and in-process inspection. The right candidate will have CMI (Certified Mechanical Inspector) or CQT (Certified Quality Technician)and a minimum 12-18 months of mechanical quality control inspection experience. Responsibilities:
-> Perform inspection activities on products, in such categories as sterility inspection, incoming inspection and in process inspection
-> Complete data forms with the results of inspection activities, including non-conforming material reports, when required
-> Interface with plant representatives for non-conforming issues
Requirements:
-> CMI (Certified Mechanical Inspector) or CQT (Certified Quality Technician) and Minimum 12-18 months of mechanical quality control inspection experience
-> PC experience required / SAP transaction knowledge preferred and ability to use Excel to perform data analysis
-> Must have understanding of Quality sampling plans and basic SPC
-> Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing measurement techniques, with the ability to interpret engineering specifications. Intermediate math skills and applications including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division (able to understand decimals).
-> Interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills sufficient to train others in the use of inspection equipment and procedures, accurately complete paperwork, understand documentation and effectively communicate with fellow employees
