Immediate opportunity for a Manufacturing Test Technician in the Cambridge, MA area. This is a hands-on position reporting to the Sr. Director of Mfg/Operations and will have responsibility for functional system level testing and electronic sub-assembly testing of all products released to manufacturing for medical device. Three to five years manufacturing electronic test technician experience preferably in the medical device industry. A great opportunity for the right driven individual!
Responsibilities:
-> Perform production and field service returns testing and troubleshooting.
-> General assembly and disassembly of electronic equipment using basic hand tools.
-> Provide feedback and recommend changes to improve operation or quality of test, assembly fixtures, tooling, and processes.
-> Interpret schematics and drawings, perform modifications and accomplish rework to new and used subassemblies and systems
Requirements:
-> Three to five years manufacturing electronic test technician experience preferably in the medical device industry.
-> Demonstrated detailed root cause analysis troubleshooting skills
-> The ability to evaluate and troubleshoot complex electromechanical instruments.
-> Requires previous experience using oscilloscopes, function generators, variable power supplies, and digital multi-meters
-> Prior experience, knowledge developing medical devices in an FDA regulated environment.
-> Good working knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA/QSR & CMDR and previous ERP/MRP system experience is desirable
