Our client is seeking a Claims Examiner for a permanent position to manage caseloads for medical claims and indemnity.
Responsibilities will be to work with indemnity and medical claims and provide oversight for the complex major accounts where a high level of knowledge and expertise is required. You will manage the accounts by investigating, evaluating, negotiating and settling claims. Other responsibilities include authorizing payments for medical or lost wages and monitoring rehab and medical case management. This position would appeal to an individual who thrives on challenge and likes to make decisions.
Requires 3+ years experience working in a claims environment with some specific experience in workers' compensation indemnity work. Candidate must be able to make decisions based on complex situations and handle multiple projects. Degree preferred.
This is a permanent full time position. Client pays interview expenses as well as full relocation. Base salary, full benefits and bonus for all employees.
The client is located in Helena, MT which is a small city surrounded by the mountains in western Montana. This is a town of friendly people, nice restaurants, museums, movie theaters, shopping, businesses and easy access to plenty of outdoor activities (such as fishing, hiking and hunting). Helena is the capital of the state and unemployment is low.
