Job Location: Morgantown, PA

TITLE:Director of Operations

ENVIRONMENT: Heavy Steel, CNC, Machining, Welding and Laser Manufacturing

LOCATION: Morgantown, Pennsylvania

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Operations

COMPENSATION RANGE: $125,000 to $150,000, plus bonus

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: MUST HAVE4 YEAR DEGREE, plus an advanced degree would be a huge plus

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Minimal

RELOCATION PACKAGE: Yes

BENEFIT PACKAGE: Yes

EXPERIENCE LEVEL:10+ Years

LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE: 8+ years

QUALITY EXPERIENCE: Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kazien, or 5S or similar quality programs would be a solid plus

NUMBER OF POSITIONS AVAILABLE: One

SUMMARY: Manages the daily functions and strategic plans of the operations department, including, but not limited to staffing and development, providing strong, enthusiastic/persuasive leadership to direct and manage the company's operations groups to ensure that OEM products are manufactured on schedule within quality standards and cost objectives. Execute established metrics, oversee internal performance metrics in productivity, labor efficiencies, and budget performance. Identify appropriate capital projects. Will have responsibility forup to 150 employees.Reports directly to Vice President

Experienced and successful operationsexecutive with experience infastpaced manufacturing plant.
Experiencewith OEM vehicle(s) design, assembly and fabrication.
Must be a change agent able to strategically improve methods and processes, as well as be a team-builder and facilitator. 8-10+ years experience in manufacturing
BS in engineering or related field
MBA or graduate degree in related field
Strategic thinking skills with a strong technical background and excellent communications ability
Experience in implementing continuous improvement programs i.e. Six Sigma, LEAN
ERP experience (implementation and maintenance)
