Immediate opportunity for a Distributed Control Systems Leader with Global Petrochemical Manufacturer. This position will be leading a dedicated DCS team focused on improving and developing the process control programs for fast paced chemical plant environment.
Qualifications:
- BS Chemical Engineering Degree with 5 years of DCS configuration experience in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment, including 3+ years leadership responsibility
- 5 years experience in production or process engineering role in an industrial manufacturing environment such as: Chemical, Petrochemical, Pulp & Paper, or Pharmaceutical.
- Knowledgeable of area process equipment, chemistry and controls preferred.
- Six Sigma Certification preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead effectively with individuals at all levels, influence others to accomplish goals and abilityto build and implement work processes to drive improvement and results.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident (green card) status
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring active and effective DCS (Distributed Control Systems) for
- Providing leadership for DCS team in trouble-shooting and maintenance of controls equipment
- Developing, programming and deploying software for process control and data acquisition
- Ensuring process data for production needs and environmental requirements
- Providing process control expertise and configuration for capital projects
- Providing process control expertise and configuration for Plant teams
- Ensuring effective end-user training for control systems and software
- Ensuring alarm management tools in place
- Implementing and maintaining Advanced Process Control where needed
- Developing productivity projects based on improved application of DCS tools
