Edwards Health Care Services, Inc. is a well-respected and established Medical Supply Provider offering a wide range of diabetes care, products and education since 1992. Located in Hudson, we are seeking motivated individuals to verify Medicare, Medicaid and insurance coverage(s) for new and existing customers.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Data entry of updated customer account information for claim processing.
• Be knowledgeable of healthcare products, Medicare law and various types of insurance plans to determine customer eligibility.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with medical offices, insurance companies, federal and state agencies.
• Analyze healthcare provider coding and/or modifier methods to resolve benefit plan and coverage discrepancies.
• Escalate discrepancies when necesary and understand when to "bump-it-up" to the management level.

Key candidate requirements;

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare environment or consumer service organization.
• Word processing skills of 40 WPM.
• Good organizational skills.
• Excellent telephone skills.
• Good cognitive reasoning ability.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently to acheive desired results.
