Job Location: Charlotte, NC

Top tier investment firm looking for solid candidate to handle an ACATs / Operations Specialist role.

In depth knowledge of Automated Customer Account Transfer Service (ACATS) system, DTCC and NSCC
Subject matter expert on ACATS uniform time frames, standardized reporting, automated control functions and transfer initiation forms (TIFS)
Deep understanding of the affects ACATS have in a Margin and Prime Brokerage environment
Expert in asset transfers outside of the standard ACATS process and familiar with the scenarios that drive that decision making
Manage day to day entries, adjustments, corrections related to account transfers
Trouble shoot, manage, and resolve account transfer processing issues
Working knowledge of all investment products handled by the ACATS system: equities, corporate and muni bonds, options, mutual funds, and unit investment trusts
Develop, and maintain procedures around the ACAT process
Assisting with ad hoc Client / Sales Trader inquiries
Knowledge of prime brokerage business, Securities Lending, Corporate Actions and Margin Management

Qualifications:

5+ years financial services experience, with a concentration in ACATS
3+ years financial services operations background with demonstrated knowledge of operational functions and general industry practices.
Proven problem solving ability; able to view problems from multiple angles and develop solutions that work across all operation units
Experience with ACATS system, DTCC, NSCC, and CNS processes
Series 7 a plus
Back office operations experience and trade entry
Bachelor's Degree

Salary Range:

$50,000 - $65,000 Base + Overtime
