Description:
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Must HaveItems:
*Provide loan compliance review services targeted to validate the accuracy of the APR and Prepaid Finance Charges for approximately 10000 mortgage loans.
The specific objectives of the reviews are:
Comparison of the final Truth In Lending Disclosure Form prepared by The Bank to the signed HUD 1/1A settlement statement prepared by the title company for the accuracy of loan details, allowable finance charges and other fees
A recalculation of the APR is in agreement with the Truth In Lending Disclosure Form based on the final fees disclosed on the signed HUD 1/1A settlement statement.
Validation that all finance charges and other fees are coded appropriately on the LPS Empower System
Document results of the review, and initiate and track all reimbursements
Education/Experience. High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years mortgage processing experience.
Skills and Competencies:.
Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time.
Strong ability to keep information organized and confidential.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Perform other duties as assigned
