Salary: 50000 - 65000

Field Sales Executive - Agency Management Systems Software Location: May be located anywhere in the Northern CA area. Profile is typically someone that has been an insurance agent, marketing rep, sales rep or similar all within the insurance PC space. Description: A leading provider of specialized software, services and information for the property and casualty insurance industry is currently looking for an experienced Account Executive who will be responsible for cultivating business in their assigned territory. This position is responsible for new client acquisition, client relationship management, software solution selling, territory business development, competitive displacements, client satisfaction and retention. Key objectives Penetrate and develop new clients in the Property and Casualty segment of the insurance vertical. Develop account and sales strategies that will enable us to achieve sales leadership within assigned territory. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales process that ensures overachievement of assigned sales targets. Leverage existing client relationships to close additional sales users, migrations, professional services or additional solution offerings. Build and maintain an accurate forecast and pipeline of quality business opportunities within the assigned territory. Ensure that customer data is entered into appropriate sales data bases accurately and on a timely basis. High intensity territory coverage, aggressive follow-up on leads, timely reports of customer issues and client visibility are all key to success. Requirements: Minimum 5-10 years sales experience, within a PC insurance agency as an owner or producer. Bachelors degree required. Proven track record in exceeding sales quota as an individual contributor and within a team selling environment is vital. Skilled Business-to-Business software sales and professional demonstration skills a must. Strong technical knowledge of the independent or captive insurance agent marketplace. Insurance License and relevant certifications preferred. Ability to create sales plans and objectives by demonstrating strategic thinking and advanced verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to follow sound business ethics when executing job responsibilities to build and maintain management confidence. Strong technical skills WEBEX, MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and a working knowledge of marketing and graphics tools such as Adobe, Acrobat and PageMaker.
