Cath Lab Supervisor

Job Location: Spartanburg, SC

Salary: 60000 - 73000

With full accreditation and high ratings from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations, our 125-bed acute care hospital has distinguished itself as the countys premiere healthcare provider We are looking for a Cardiac Special Procedures Lead. Must have current licensure by ARRT, and Current SC License. Fours (4) years Cath Lab or Special Procedures, radiology experience. Must be able to demonstrate leadership and good communication skills and the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care or support based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her assigned service area, as defined in this job description/performance evaluation Under direction of Physician, Director of Cath Lab, performs radiographic and sterile scrub procedures at a technical level, not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and invasive treatment. Performs repetitive and non-repetitive duties both in and out of Cath Lab under direct and indirect supervision Director of Cath Lab and Physicians. The technologists actions are done in the best interest of the patient with the knowledge of department/hospital policies and procedures. Position classified R having blood and body fluid exposure.
