Manufacturing / Project Engineer
Job Location: San Francisco, CA
Salary: 55000 - 70000
Manufacturing Engineer / Project Engineer
Basic Functions: Plan, perform, and supervise a variety of complex engineering technical assignements, which require an in-depth knowledge of advanced techniques and principles and their application.
Duties:
Maintain completed and detailed timelines and checklists identifying parameters and outling resources needed to meet project objectives and inform internal and external customers of program status.
Schedule and assign tasks to meet planned completion dates for prototype and pilot activities.
Ensure the transfer of engineering information to internal and external customers utilizing Engineering Change Tracking Logs and regular communication.
Participate in customer reviews of prototype and pilot product. Maintain open issues list and work towards closure and customer approval of all issues.
Working a cross function team, develop process flow, PFMEA and error proofing concepts to support both pre-production and production builds.
Keep Plant and Program Management informed program progress and status.
Prepare employees for new model launch activities. Assist with training of team members during training builds.
Assist Materials Department with review of Bill Of Materials.
Required: B.S. degree in Engineering or other technical related field
