Leader in the development, design and production of flight control systems and components for aerospace and related high-technology markets. Position Summary: Administers Commercial Aerospace contracts for complex products and systems to ensure fulfillment of contractual fiscal and performance obligations. Defines requirements, generates proposals, monitors performance, negotiates pricing and terms, and ensures compliance with contract requirements. Determines customer requirements for major, long-term contracts and new products and/or systems (e.g. proposals that include engineering design and system hardware).
Responsibities:
Prepare for and lead multi-functional teams in negotiations with customers.
High degree of expertise and efficiency with completing compliance matrices and marked-up documents for inclusion in proposal packages.
Review risk analysis and provide input to insure appropriate incorporation of the contract model.
Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree (BA) in Business Administration, or related field. Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through eight or more years of related experience.
2. Extensive background in commercial aerospace contract terms and conditions, including expertise with provisions related to intellectual property, indemnification, insurance, and remedies.
3. Thorough understanding of teaming agreements / arrangements and experience with related flow-down of commercial aerospace customer requirements and liabilities.
4. Familiarity with financial modeling/risk analysis and understanding the impact of certain provisions to those models. Has worked with/exposure to strategic pricing.
5. Working knowledge of subcontract terms and conditions and the ability to support the supply chain team with specific provisions and negotiations.
6. Demonstrated understanding of technical concepts and the ability to identify risk areas in agreements related to baseline technical requirements
