We are conducting a search for an experienced Administrator, Outpatient Surgery Center. The Administrator is responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operation of the Outpatient Surgery Center facility, including the business office and clinical functions. This responsibility includes meeting licensure accreditation standards, establishing mechanisms to assure quality care delivery, development of policies and procedures, capital operating budget preparation and management, overseeing hiring training of staff, and marketing the facilitys services to physicians. There are 4 ORs, 280 procedures per month, 26 FTEs supported by a Clinical Supervisor, and 31 physicians in this free standing hospital owned facility. Multi-specialty: Primarily General Surgery, Orthopedics, Plastics, ENT, Podiatry.
The Administrator is also responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing new programs/services which contribute to the financial and operational growth of the surgery center. Develops and implements marketing and communication activities to grow the surgery centers volume of cases, and maintains strong physician relations through targeted office visits.
Position Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Masters Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland or eligible Three to five years experience in healthcare management, including at least one year in an Operating Room environment.
