Controls Engineer (TN)
Job Location: Memphis, TN
Salary: 60000 - 70000
Systems integration firm is seeking a Controls/Project Engineer for their office in Memphis, Tennessee. This historic city situated on the Mississippi River has much to offer. From music to food to sports to the zoo, this bustling city is a great place to live!
Founded in 1983, our client is a leading provider of control and systems integration solutions to manufacturers with focused experience in the food processing, petfood / aquaculture, pharmaceutical, plastics, specialty chemicals, ethanol / alcohol, and feed and grain industries. The companys specialties include high-end batching systems, automated cooking extrusion, food and ingredient processes, metal forming, bulk material transport and material handling. Additionally, our client has developed specialized skills in machine vision inspection and data collection and tracking systems. They have leveraged this top floor to plant floor understanding to provide expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions, integrating process control systems with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to give customers near real-time information they can use to make critical business decisions.
Qualifications include:
BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
3+ years experience in the design and implementation of industrial process control systems.
Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, GE, Siemens, Modicon, etc)
Experience with at least one of the following: Wonderware, RSView, Intellution, Cimplicity
Proficiency with at least one of the following: Ethernet IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, A-B DH+, A-B Remote I/O
Schematic Design Interpretation
This person needs to be a self-starter who possesses the ability to work in a rapidly growing entrepreneurial environment. Good communications skills, both verbal and written are a must. Approximately 25 travel. Must have the unrestricted ability to work in the US.
