Progressive, democratic, well-managed sub-specialized 20-member group seeks fellowship trained Body Imager with nuclear medicine experience and interest. Nuclear cardiology and PET skills are a plus, but not required. No interventional skills needed. General radiology skills are required. Partnership track position with excellent compensation package and benefits. Live in an affordable medium-sized, family-oriented, university town with proximity to great cultural and recreational opportunities. Eugene/Springfield is located 90 miles south of Portland in the Willamette Valley. Eugene is also home of the University Of Oregon. The area is known for its beautiful setting and great outdoor activities including hiking, biking, fishing, and hunting. Eugene is 50 miles to the Pacific ocean and 50 miles to the first ski slope. Willamette Valley vineyards are within a 20 minute drive. New state-of-the-art hospital to open in 2008. Ownership stake in large outpatient imaging joint venture. Highly sophisticated PACS and teleradiology services. The group has subspecialty expertise in: neuro, musculoskeletal, interventional, mammo, body imaging and nuclear medicine. The need is for a fellowship-trained body imager to strengthen current body MRI services, cardiac CT interpretation, and to aid in the staffing of a highly efficient nuclear medicine lab.
The practice currently performs over 360,000 procedures per year.
