Refining Process Engineer
Job Location: Bakersfield, CA
Salary: 80000 - 110000
Our client is a leader in the refining industry. Their primary products are diesel fuel, gasoline, jet fuel and solvents are sold and marketed into neighboring states. They are committed to providing a safe working environment and diligently work to provide cleaner fuels. They currently have an opening for a Process Engineer.
Primary responsibilities include:
Developing refinery capital investment projects
Providing economic justification for each project
Develop process design packages for their implementation
Prepare specifications, drawings, bid packages, quality analysis
PID reviews, PHAs, MOCs, and PSSRs
Provide process engineering support to unit operations
Troubleshoot and optimize refinery processes
Develop engineering solutions to complex operating problems
Assist with process control projects
Requirements:
BS in Chemical Engineering
3 to 10 years experience in refining or petrochemical facility
