HVAC BAS Technician
Job Location: Chicago, IL
BAS Technician Qualifications
Training:
1.1 - 2 years experience with Niagara R2 /or AX framework.
a.Niagara Certified
b.Understands Niagara R2 AX programming logic, station to station setup, graphic creation
c.Experience in Niagara Networking Setup for BACnet/IP and Niagara Fox Protocol.
d.Has installed and maintained multi-vendor sites
i. Experience with Honeywell LON
ii. Experience with Staefa LON
iii. Experience with Trane LON
iv. MSTP BACnet Controls
v. Experience with Modbus Protocol
vi. Other proprietary Protocols would be beneficial
e.Must have written control logic for one or more of the following manufacturers:
i. Automated Logic - EIKON Programming
ii. American Auto Matrix - SPL Language programming
iii. Circon - Circon Basic
iv. Honeywell - CARE programming
v. Staefa - MS1800 - 2000 / Talon Programming
2.Minimum 3 years experience with HVAC Mechanical systems and equipment.
a.Installation, troubleshooting and prior maintenance skills would be beneficial.
b.Able to interpret control schematics and sequences
c.ASHRAE membership is a plus.
3.Minimum 3 years experience with Personal Computers.
a.JAVA / HTML Programming background
b.LON Works
c.Familiar with Software Installation and upgrades
d.2+ years experience on networking and network fundamentals (A MUST)
