Analog IC Design
Job Location: San diego, CA
Salary: 110000 - 130000
Responsible for the system design, architecture, analysis, modeling, and verification of complex, state-of-the-art analog mixed-signal SOC
Essential Duties:
Participate in product definition with marketing and applications engineering
Complete technical ownership of chip system design, assembly and verification
Specification and design/implementation of analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks that make up the SOC
Coordination of design activities with IP vendors and remote design centers
Layout supervision and floorplanning of the entire chips
Prepare and present reports on the technical status of IC development projects
Qualification Requirements:
BSEE, MSEE preferred
10+ years of mixed-signal IC design experience, from specification definition to production release
Solid understanding of the IC design verification process
Experience with structured design (architecture, specification, modeling, implementation, verification) of complex analog mixed-signal systems.
General analog and mixed-signal CMOS IC design experience (e.g. op-amps, regulators, bandgap references, charge pumps, PLL blocks, DACs, ADCs, biasing circuits, etc.).
Familiarity with Cadence or Mentor IC design tools, Verilog or VHDL
Ability to work independently, lead projects from a technical perspective provide mentoring of more junior colleagues.
