Account Manager

Job Location: Houston, TX

Salary: 65000 - 80000

Account manager opportunity with leading Our client sells to the hygiene, medical, textile and industrial industries. The client manufactures a complete range of modern nonwoven products, from spunbond, meltblown, airlaid and carded nonwovens, to sophisticated multidenier fabrics and complex laminates and composites. Established firm has immediate need for fluent Spanish speaking candidate for Texas, Southern US and Mexico territory. Reports to Director of Sales and is responsible for coordination, management, and sales of current and future Private Label accounts in the United States and Mexico.Manage pricing adjustments, notifications, tracking of commodity indices, demand forecasts, and all other supply contract requirements. Provide timely and effective communication, including monthly reports, meeting reports, and conference call minutes, to client management and support areas on customer news, issues, market position by product, opportunities and threats interpret this information and provide business savvy recommendations on actions needed. Obtain monthly demand forecasts for assigned accounts. Assume responsibility for inputting and updating client planning system as it relates to the products supplies to customers. Facilitate interactions between client RD/TSD and customers counterparts related to current product servicing needs, future product development initiatives and qualifications.Develop and maintain strong relationship with client support groups of Customer Service, Business Analysts, TSD, Operations Planning Support, and Manufacturing.Control SA and the expenditures to budget. Provide support and backup to other members of Fiberwebs Private Label team. Youll work with RD, Production Planning, and Quality groups, Sales and Marketing Director, Sales Organization, TSD, RD, Customer Service, Plant Management and staff, Finance, and Purchasing. Bachelors Degree, MBA a plus. International sales a plus.Nonwoven or roll goods experience desirable. Also, experience ion polymers or chemistry is beneficial. Five years of marketing/sales experience to major consumer branded product manufacturers, automotive, and parts manufacturers. 70 travel mostly in Tijuana, Pueblo, Guadalahara, Queretaro and Mexico City.
