Manager, Medical Oncology
Offering both medical and holistic state of the art interventions, this unit is seeking a Manager to oversee the daily operations of 60 FTEs in a 42 bed medical and oncology unit. Staff consists of nurses, experienced and new, clinical case manager, social worker, unit clerk LPNs and CNAs. With a patient to staff ratio of 1:5 the department is busy and needs a strong, nurturing leader to guide them.
BSN with five years of direct nursing experience and at least two as a supervisor/manager in acute care setting. Background in Med/Surg or Oncology is a plus. Skill in setting direction and leading staff. Strong customer services skills and ability to enjoin and encourage staff while providing a high level of care to patients and families.
