Network Engineer
Job Location: Boise City, ID
Salary: 80000 - 110000
Need a Converged Voice and Data Engineer with expertise in the areas of LAN, WAN, Voice and Video. Must be skilled in designing infrastructure and implementing technology to support large and medium data networks, and supporting users at multiple remote locations. Position requires thorough knowledge of innovative technology such as multi-layer switching, QoS, VOIP and Inter-switch VLAN trunking. Specialized in deployment of large scale Cisco Call Manager and Unity Unified Messaging systems. Proven ability to translate business needs into technology requirements that support the companys business objectives. Able to successfully manage all phases of IT projects from needs analysis to product selection, implementation, and training.
Experience
Skills needed:
Assess the needs of customers and recommend appropriate solutions based on the environment of their existing network and planned growth.
Implement converged Voice, Data and Video solutions with end to end Quality of Service based on DSCP, TOS and 802.1P industry standards.
Design network security solutions that employ VPN, Intrusion Detection and Firewall capabilities to provide safe remote access and inter-site connectivity.
