Surgical Scrub Technician - OR Tech
Job Location: Anchorage, AK
Our client, a recognized hospital in the local area, is looking for an experienced scrub tech to provide safe and effectivecare, through the performance of specific duties, as the Surgical Technologist during surgical and other invasive procedures under the direction of a registered nurse. Performs routine scrub as well as specifically delegated duties according to AORN standards and established ploicies and procedures of the Department of Surgery. Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment for all. Keeps current with operating room techniques, procedures, instruments, supplies and equipment.
Requirements: Certification as OR Tech, and experience in Surgical Scrub procedures required.
NO NEW GRADS - Candidates not having at least 6 months post grad full-time OR experience will not be considered. - NO NEW GRADS
