Design Engineer Analyst II
Job Location: Eufaula, AL
Design Engineering Analyst II
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years in structural engineering software using FORTRAN or C/C++, BASIC or PASCAL
--Strong preference will be given to the person with a blend of superior analysis and design of structural steel in phases of projects specific to the pre-engineered metal building and retrofit roofing industries. Projects include: warehouse and distribution, aviation, recreation, retail, commercial, government and churches
--Assessment and negotiation of software functionality enhancements
--Architecting and coding of solutions
--Unit testing of developed code
--In-depth knowledge of AISC steel design and AISI cold-formed steel design practices and US model building codes
--BSEE or BSME Required
SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:
--Conscientious
--Attentive to detail
--Good communicator internally and externally
--Good organizational skills and be able to prioritize daily workload
--Ability to work with larger team including other engineering specialists and computer scientists
