Account Rep: Sales Represenative
Job Location: Phoenix, AZ
Account Representative
Summary
Our client is a leader in global package pick up and delivery services. In this position you will promote and sell Delivery and Pick-up services to meet sales targets and generate revenue. You will respond to customer needs and requirements with the appropriate service, maintain a high-level of customer service with existing customers and leverage relationships to expand your business. Developing relationships with new clients by prospecting and responding to business development leads is a must. You will also monitor and review customer sales activity and make adjustments to processes and strategies as needed.
Tasks Responsibilities
Lead direct sales initiatives in a defined territory generating profitable sales on new and existing accounts.
Develop field sales plan that supports increased sales from territory (or region, if applicable) by utilizing available resources.
Identify business opportunities, assess customer needs, and match these with service portfolio to acquire new business.
Provides services information and follows up on quotes to close business.
Partner with local, district, and regional management to coordinate customer requests and services that are being promoted.
Coordinates sales efforts with inside sales and provides flow of data on account competitors and suppliers to product management.
You may be asked to provide functional advice or training to less experience field sales positions.
Skills Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent sales experience.
A minimum of 2-3 years high-volume business to business sales experience, with industry experience a plus.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Energy, motivation, enthusiasm, integrity, and organizational skills
Leadership and achievement in academic, professional, and/or military environments
Computer proficiency
