Job Title: Reliability, Maintainability, Safety (RMS) Engineer
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Overall responsibility for RMS deliverables across design projects.
Health Hazard Assessment Reports
Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP)
Supports System Requirement Reviews (SRRs), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), and Critical DesignReviews (CDRs) as required.
Utilizes NX 8.5 CAD software and Teamcenter to interrogate designs
Work as the liaison between COS Engineering and GEC-I Reliability Engineering.
Be the reliability, maintainability, safety focal for customer technical communication
Perform Maintainability analysis including MSG-3 Analysis
Senior level experience and knowledge of aerospace reliability analysis using WINDCHILL/RELEX reliability software
Experience to enable independent completion of the following deliverables:
- RMS program plans
- Reliability prediction analyses/probability of success and reports
- Failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) reports
- Failure mode effects criticality analysis (FMECA) reports
- Fault tree analysis and reports
- Mission interruption rate reports
- Mean time between failure analysis
- System safety assessment reports
- Safety critical part analyses
- Safety hazard analyses
- Maintainability analyses and reports as required
- Direct maintenance cost (DMC) analyses
- Failure reporting analysis correct action reports.
Experience with ARP4761, MIL-STD-882 is required.
Experience with ARP4754A, FAR 25, and AC25.1309 is highly desired.
Experience with MIL-HDBK-470 and MIL-HDBK-472 is desired.
Individual must be very detail oriented and thorough in the reliability activity due to the criticality of the seat performance.

Strong analytical skills.
Ability to work independently but primarily as the reliability lead for an integrated product team.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize both daily issues and long-term projects.

Excellent computer skills, including skill in Microsoft office applications and the ability to learn new software.
Experience at troubleshooting including in depth root cause analysis and corrective action closure.
BS or MS Aerospace, Mechanical, or Comparable Engineering Degree
