Quality Engineer

Job Location: Elkhart, IN
Are you an experienced Quality Engineer looking for a great opportunity with an excellent global company?

If so, the Quality Assurance Engineer is the primary interface between quality, production, engineering, customers and suppliers to ensure that product quality issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner.

  • Support Operations on issue resolution of quality issues
  • Manage the day to day Material Review Board (MRB) activities
  • Participate is regulatory agency and customer quality audits
  • Assist in creating and daily management of quality metrics throughout Operations
  • Work closely with Quality Manager to create and maintain daily, weekly and monthly Quality Reports including the monthly Quality Meeting
  • Lead CAR/SCAR activities and resulting solutions
  • Work closely with Quality Manager to create and maintain quality standards for all departments and products
  • Support Supplier Certifications, Inspections, PPAPs, etc. as required
  • Represent Quality on all new development activities including Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA) and other Quality/NPD activities
  • Lead and/or participate in Continuous Improvement activities as applicable
  • Provides additional support other departments as needed
  • May perform other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quality or engineering related field

  • 5+ years quality engineering experience
  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is preferred
