Opportunity Summary:

The Key Account Manager will develop customer and industry-wide relationships, market and product knowledge, and the credibility with customers to maintain core business, to capitalize on new opportunities, and to fend off threats. The Company is a privately held International Manufacturing Company with a strong focus on the quality, continuous improvement and high ethical standards. Key Accountabilities:
  • Customer relationship management- Communicating with customer contacts in order to understand their long-range strategy, serving as the liaison between all levels of the company's customers and internal colleagues, managing all activities necessary to exceed customer expectations while satisfying companys strategic objectives, addressing customer opportunities for new product development, quality, delivery, service, price, credit terms, and productivity objectives.(80% of time will be spent in this area.)
  • Administrative - Developing pricing plans and supporting documents, subject to approval by the Vice President of Sales Preparing annual sales forecasts and sales expense budgets. (10% of time will be spent in this area.)
  • Building and maintaining industry knowledge - Staying abreast of industry trends in technology, product requirements, and regulations. (10% of time will be spent in this area.)


Must Have:
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Five years of successful experience in industrial sales.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills spoken and written.
  • Flexibility to travel 2-3 days per week (within U.S., Mexico, and possible overseas).
Would Like:
  • MBA.
  • HVAC industry experience.
  • Technical background, especially with air movement (fans, blowers, etc.).
  • Spanish language skills.
