Engineer II (Mechanical)
Job Location: Tampa, FL

Description
Provide mechanical engineering expertise in the design and development of gun launched guided and unguided munitions. Design munitions system structures such as complex body and fin shapes and internal mechanical components. Analyze existing designs and perform design analysis and trade studies involving alternate material concepts. Perform FEA analysis and design using PRO/E, ANSYS and AutoCAD.
Basic Qualifications
BS Mechanical Engineering - a strong PRO/E modeling skill set, 3-5 years mechanical engineering experience, mechanical structural design. Individual must have knowledge in reviewing complex manufacturing drawings and perform detailed tolerance analysis to assure proper mechanical system fabrication and integration.
Individual must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a SECRET level clearance as a condition of employment
Preferred Qualifications
Finite Element Analysis (FEA), ANSYS modeling and analysis, mechanical model design and analysis using ANSYS or similar tool. Six Sigma.
