Buyer / Planner - Manufacturing Experience Required

Sr. Planner / Buyer Growing Manufacturer
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 Range, Plus excellent benefits and perks.
This national manufacturing company is looking for a Planner/Buyer to be a supply team member in their Materials area. The Planner will work with management to maximize order fill rate, and support the Lean manufacturing material scheduling system. The Planner will be involved in the usage of the MRP planning system, and lead project management for specific commodities and procurement activities. Will be participating in a Continuous Improvement environment.
The ideal candidate would have at least five years of purchasing / planning or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with a manufacturing MRP system. Good project management skills, and strong negotiating skills with the ability to work in a team environment.

Requirements for Planner / Buyer:
1. Bachelors degree preferred .
2. Five or more years of purchasing, buying and planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
3. Good negotiating and project management skills.
4. Ability to work in a team setting.
5. Experience using a manufacturing MRP system.
