Our client is a hospital in the Medford, Oregon area that has an opening for a full-time Pharmacist. 360 bed facility. As a pharmacist with our client, you will have unequaled opportunities to make the most of your talent and experience. If your backround is in retail only, our strong orientation program provides what you will need to transition to the hospital environment. Pharmacy practice settings include both centrally-located and unit-based pharmacists. Staff pharmacists also participate as key members of the health care team, participating in:
Core clinical teams Interdisciplinary teams Clinical rounds Collaborative Drug Therapy Management (CDTM) Infusion services Performance improvement activities
Our client employs progressive management practices where decisions are based on competencies rather than seniority. Scheduling is also based on equity, competencies and skill mix. Our scheduling practices are designed with respect for a balanced, quality lifestyle. This position is full time, fully benefited with 10 hour shifts, primary day and evening hours, some weekends and nights.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Pharmacy.
Computer skills and understanding of general pharmacy systems.
Registered Pharmacist (RPh) by Oregon Board of Pharmacy or RPh eligible or schedule for Rph exam or waiting for exam results.
Ability to solve complex problems in working with scheduling and prioritization work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in institutional pharmacy practice.
Ability to participate and contribute to various institutional/departmental committees.
General knowledge and understanding of JCAHO standards.
SALARY: $49.00 - 53.00
