Engineer I
Job Location: Tampa, FL
Experience: 2-4 years of experience
Description
Provides support as technical resource for Research Development activities. Functions as a GD-OTS technical representative in the area of design and analysis. Develop statements of work, test procedures, and project plans. Act as project liaison with subcontractors, government test personnel as well as other internal company service providers (i.e. Contracts, Procurement, and Quality). Involved in concept development of gun launched guided munitions involving mechanical, optical and electrical subsystems. Participate in ballistic testing, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) testing and wind tunnel testing to include post test data format and analysis. Individual will be exposed to guidance, Navigation and Control system development and field testing.
Basic Qualifications
BS Mechanical or Electrical Engineering - focus on systems engineering. 2-4 years related experience.
Individual must be US Citizen and able to obtain a SECRET level clearance as a condition of employment.
MS Office proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications
Systems Engineering exp. Six Sigma.
